Every now and then I think it’s important to just be honest about yourself and laugh at the things about you that don’t make any sense…

16 Things You Might Not Know About Me:

  1. I was born 3 months premature. I’ve always been a little impatient.cartoon-in-mirror.jpg
  2. I try to check out 2 new books from the library every week.
  3. I am just like my mother.
  4. I am nothing like my mother.
  5. I’m a big, unapologetic nerd.
  6. I played point guard on my school’s basketball team until the end of 9th grade. Don’t underestimate my jump shot.
  7. I secretly fantasize about being a diva vocalist.
  8. It’s written all over my face, ok?
  9. I hate being misunderstood.
  10. Can’t I be short AND have long legs?
  11. I am down-to-earth.
  12. I sometimes have a superiority complex.
  13. I’m an ‘all-or-nothing’ kinda girl. But that doesn’t mean I won’t take ’some’ or ‘a little’ when I’m feelin’ needy.
  14. I hate that I’ve gained so much weight. And now I know what “that look” is  — you know when everybody’s thinking ‘Whooo, she’s gained weight!’ but not really SAYING it?
  15. I’m a church girl.

    1. I’m the BIGGEST Laker fan in Detroit, if not the world!!
    2. I’m ALWAYS right!! In other words, when I’m right, I’m right; and when I’m wrong, I could’ve been right, so I’m right, cuz I could’ve been wrong!! Feel me?
    3. I really DO believe I’m Superman!!
    4. I’m the ONLY person in Detroit who actually realizes how extremely OVERRATED the Pistons are!!
    5. At times, I think someone left me on my family’s doorstep cuz I’m NOTHING like them!!

    1. I’m a bit of a time freak. If we are suppose to do something at a certain time I would like to be there at that time (or maybe even early), but definitely not at the very last possible second.
    2. I’ve always been a nerd (even when I tried hard not to be one).
    3. I’m a bit of a hopeless romantic (no comment, lol).
    4. I’m smarter than a 5th grader.
    5. I’m a dreamer. I dream big and there are several things I believe to come true in the near future of my life (watch out Black Enterprise!)
    6. I am the biggest church boy.
    7. If you cut me, you would find that I bleed red and Eagles green (we coming for everybody next year).
    8. I’m conscious of my weight and working to bring it down and keep it down.
